At the moment, the only possibility to run Monotheka is to build it from source. We don't provide binary packages. To build it you will need MONO and some associated packages. Check the Features page for the specific requirements.

Monotheka uses monoBOIL to auto-configure the source files for compiling/installing. monoBOIL is a simple automake clone, designed specifically for MONO applications. Please take a look on README and INSTALL provided in the archives for detailed instructions.

If you happen to use Gentoo Linux, we have some ebuilds ready for you. Browse the Gentoo Wiki for instructions on how to install external ebuilds.

Since version 0.0.4 we provide binary packages for Archlinux. These packages were compiled under mono 1.1.x. If you want to run monotheka on mono 1.0.x series, you'd better compile it from source
